Simcoe is a dear.
He is progressing very well. Knows many of his commands -- sit, down,
stand, lap, visit, up, stay, release, wait, hurry, shake, jump, dress, and
HI Five. Not bad for 6 months. We have started on our "outings."
He had his first trip to the Zoo with his brother Sergi last week. I'll
send you a picture when we get them back. Attached is Simcoe the Monarch
Butterfly. Saturday is our dog walk and Sergi and Simcoe will be
Butterflies and Keith will be a caterpillar (costume left over from the
kids). It is one of CCI's fundraisers. I'll take pictures and send them.
He is a very affectionate pup. Simcoe and Keith made a visit to MA to
visit my son Rob in school last week. Rob really missed us all and being
only 50 miles from NYC he was touched very closely by the tragedy.
Fortunately it has turned out that none of his friends lost close
relatives but their were hours of fear.
We felt he needed a hug and whole bunch of sloppy kissed. Will send
pictures when we get them of the Zoo and dog walk. |
Smiles
Marianne and Simcoe and Keith
(Editor's note: Hurry is the CCI command to
potty. As a service dog, it is important that the dog goes while they have the
chance. They learn this very early.)
