Introducing Simcoe

Simcoe II is being raised by Marianne Firlit in the greater Chicago area. He's a black Lab Golden cross (3/8 golden and 5/8 lab). He was greeted by the Firlits on May 11th. 

They have raised 3 other pups for CCI. Holt graduated as a service dog in May, 2000. Keith was released for food allergy problems but is doing fine now and is a Certified Therapy Dog International who will begin his "work" with their daughter soon. They are also co-raising Jentry who just turned 6 months old, and who's present puppy raiser is working full time. 

Simcoe and his brother Sergio will be raised in the same area. 

In a note from Marianne just after getting Simcoe home on 5/13/01:

"Our new pup is home. He is beautiful, sweet and we are bonded already, especially our Mr. Keith. (See pic of Simcoe and Keith) Keith is amazing with him. A very gentle moose. Simcoe is only 10 lbs., the smallest yet and really not an eater, but is a real cuddler, loves to sit at my feet. He is a howler as is his brother Sergio, but they both know Hurry and Sit and Here. He is amazing. When I call his name he already comes running. Last night he slept 6 hours! What a guy. Let the fun begin.
