3 Dogs
Received February 3, 2002
Henry thought the monthly puppy raiser/graduate training session this
afternoon was great fun, and I was happy to see him keep up quite admirably with
the older/bigger dogs. There were even two new pups (nine and ten weeks old)
there for distraction. The training today was held in a suburban police station.
After our practice time, the dogs got to meet and interact with a couple of
police officers. Then we went next door to the fire station where they got to
check out the big equipment, take in all the smells including smokey clothing,
and have lots of socialization time with the fire fighters and paramedics. Got a
nice shot (the kind that needs developing) of Henry sitting on the front of a
fire truck, which I'll share later.
The attached photo was taken on Dec. 10. On the left is three-month-old
Henry, our three-year-old Nita, and one-year-old Premier (another local CCI
assistance dog in training).
