In 1986, Simcoe Communications produced World Champion as a promotional piece for amputee Olympic hopeful, Diana Golden.  Diana went on to win a gold medal in the 1988 Olympics in Calgary.  Diana retired undefeated with 19 gold medals in world competition and began a career as a motivational speaker.

Diana gave permission for a re-edited telling of her story.  World Champion:  Director's Cut brings state of the art editing and additional follow-up material to her exciting Olympic odyssey.   Fifty percent of the net proceeds from the sale of this video will be given in Diana's honor to organizations supporting disabled athletes.

Total running time:  34 minutes for the main interview, 101 minutes total (including outtakes and supplemental source material.)

Diana and her cancer are no longer battling.  Somehow, it seems that she was the winner as were we all for having been touched by her.  Good-bye dear friend.  Thank you for enriching our lives and the lives of so many.
