Service for the Celebration of Kent's Life

A service for the celebration of Kent Simcoe's life was held on Sunday, June 9, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Community Church located at 1730 Pleasant Grove Blvd in Roseville, CA.

We all know how much Kent loved and enjoyed life and we joined together and remembered him through song and stories.

It was a beautiful service. As Nancy Sawhney put told her husband, "It was to die for." Kent would have enjoyed her pun.

Of course, being a service for Kent, it was videotaped. When it is edited, tapes will be available. Special thanks to everyone who took part in the planning and implementation of the service. It was indeed as special as the man we were remembering.

The following links will provide you with glimpses of the service. As more pieces are available, they will be added here.

This memorial site will be expanding. If you would like to send something to share, please click this link. He meant a lot to a lot of people, probably more than any of us can realize. Photos are a welcome addition.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Kent's memory to Canine Companions for Independence or Pleasant Grove Community Church, his 2 favorite charities.
