In Loving Memory (May 30, 2002)

This comes from Bath, England. I 'met' Kent, Sally and Shelby only about a year ago through coming across Shelby's website, being intrigued by the name! From then, it was as though they immediately opened their arms through their computer to a total stranger thousands of miles away.

I received probably just two or three personal emails from Kent, (as well as all those hilarious circular ones), as we chatted and established who we all were. These were warm and generous, and reflected his love for people and generosity of spirit which I now read in these tributes from those who knew him well.

I can well understand that he will be greatly missed. I thank God for having met them, and pray for Sally in her great loss, and for the loving supportive church of which they are a part.

" 'For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts,' says the Lord."

This memorial site will be expanding. If you would like to send something to share, please click this link. He meant a lot to a lot of people, probably more than any of us can realize. Photos are a welcome addition.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Kent's memory to Canine Companions for Independence or Pleasant Grove Community Church, his 2 favorite charities.
