Jim and I have known Sally and Kent since they became lifetime family and friends of Shelby. We prayed as we spent the first year of her training, knowing that her unique lovingness, yet excitability, would meet someone's special needs. What a blessing when she and Sally found each other!! What a blessing for us to not only have known and loved Shelby but to meet and love Sally and Kent. God is so good!! 

I have especially enjoyed Kent's use of the English language--and the creation of many new, good words, too. I loved to see him in action as he really loved life and Sally and Shelby!! What a guy!! We will miss him terribly!! 

I looked forward to the start of each year because Kent would be posting his rap-up of the fun and frolicking of the past year. And couldn't he "frolic"? His astonishing generosity was an encouragement to us as we traveled out of country on mission trips. 

Kent, it was wonderful to know you here and super to know that we will see you again. It will be something to hear your voice raised in praise as we gather around the Throne of our wonderful God and His Son, Jesus.
